What is Ice Laser?
Ice Laser is a patented brand that includes Soprano Ice, Soprano Ice Platinum, and Soprano Titanium devices. While Soprano Ice has only the Diode wavelength, Soprano Ice Platinum and Soprano Titanium combine Alexandrite, Diode, and Nd
laser wavelengths in a single handpiece. The advantage of having three wavelengths in the same system provides effective laser hair removal for all hair types and safe treatment for all skin types.
The devices that make up the Ice Laser family were developed by Alma Lasers, the inventor of the SHR Application Method, after many years of research. The SHR Application Method (known in our country as “ironing laser hair removal”) is a patented technology that minimizes pain during laser hair removal by gradually heating hair follicles. The patented cooling technology (ICE™ technology) is another important technology that reduces pain by protecting the skin during laser hair removal. The Soprano series devices, marketed under the name Ice Laser™ in our country, are laser systems that have FDA approval for laser hair removal on all skin types.
How is Ice Laser Applied?
Ice Laser uses a gradual heating method to destroy hair follicles while preventing damage to the surrounding skin, almost completely eliminating the risk of burns. In this patented SHR application method, where the treatment handpiece moves continuously like ironing, hair follicles are gradually heated.
Since the gradual heating method allows for the use of higher energy levels, it achieves the desired effect, especially on fine and light-colored hair. Ice Laser™ is described by those who undergo treatment as providing a massage sensation and offering comfortable laser hair removal. By protecting the skin’s surface with its patented technologies, it minimizes the risk of complications such as skin burns and discoloration. ICE Technology / Ice Laser
Ice Laser features ICE™ Technology, which effectively cools the skin during the application. The cold sapphire tip on the Ice Laser device cools and soothes the skin during treatment. When the sapphire tip comes into contact with the skin, it is ice-cold and cools the skin down to -3°C. This contact cooling system increases application comfort and safety, minimizing the risk of side effects. It reduces the risk of burns, color changes, and the formation of spots on the skin.
Safe / Comfortable Laser Hair Removal
During Ice Laser hair removal, the treatment handpiece moves continuously like ironing. This method gradually reaches the temperature needed to destroy the hair follicle. The combination of this gradual heating method and advanced cooling system allows for almost painless hair removal. The ice-cold treatment handpiece cools the skin down to -3°C, so the skin feels refreshing and only a very mild warmth is felt during the application. This enables the use of a much higher energy level for hair removal, especially for deep-rooted hair in areas like the male back and chest, without pain or risk of side effects. Ice Laser Hair Removal is Fast
Ice Laser™ features a large treatment handpiece that cuts session times in half. With the Soprano Titanium’s 4 cm² treatment head and a technology that fires 10 shots per second, it allows for very rapid laser hair removal. Approximately 35 minutes is sufficient for laser hair removal of the entire body.
Facial Tip
Ice Laser has a special tip for laser hair removal in hard-to-reach areas such as between the eyebrows, inside the ears, and inside the nose. This tip allows for laser hair removal in difficult-to-reach areas of the facial region.
Application on All Skin and Hair Types / Four Seasons Hair Removal
Since Soprano Ice Platinum and Soprano Titanium have three wavelengths, they enable safe laser hair removal for all skin types, including tanned skin. Soprano Ice, on the other hand, has only the Diode wavelength, which has a moderate level of melanin absorption. This moderate absorption level, combined with the advanced contact cooling system (patented ICE™ technology) and patented SHR application method (ironing laser hair removal method), allows for safe application on all skin types and all hair types, including fine hairs, in every season.
