Cavitation Overview
Cavitation is based on the principle of breaking down subcutaneous fat tissue using low-frequency ultrasound waves, which liquefy the fat and remove it from the body. This method involves the application of ultrasound to the outer surface of the skin, causing sudden and high-pressure changes in the fluid within fat cells. The ultrasound waves disrupt the membranes of fat cells, releasing the fat to be expelled from the body through the liver and lymphatic system.
Cavitation is a non-surgical method that improves localized fat and cellulite through sound waves. The technique was inspired by the method of breaking kidney stones with sound waves. In the case of kidney stones, the target is the stone itself, while in cavitation, the target is the breakdown of fat.
Treatment Protocol
To achieve visible and lasting results, an average of 6 sessions is typically required. Each session lasts about 30 minutes, depending on the area being treated. Sessions are usually scheduled twice a week.
- A gel is applied to the skin in the treatment area, and the device’s applicator head is moved over that area.
- The procedure is completely painless.
- During the session, you may hear a whistling or ringing sound in your ears, which is harmless.
- Post-session, there may be darkening of the urine.
- Drinking 2 liters of water daily facilitates the elimination process.
